Seminar Summary
A new role as team leader, manager and project leader…the position of women in the workplace is clearly changing. “Am I doing the right thing…? How can I accomplish this, even though I don’t have enough experience…?” Many women are burdened with anxiety and concern about their jobs and careers, as they struggle to compete in a male-centered society. How can a woman play an important professional role--while maintaining her individual female identity--in a business community that frequently favors men? In this luncheon event, Ms. Midori Kaneko from Citygroup Japan Holdings Ltd. will share the experiences and business views she gained while working in important positions in international commerce, focusing on her difficulties as well as her personal professional victories. Using valuable insights from Ms. Kaneko’s story, a brief workshop is planned in the last half of the event. Facilitated by AMA faculty, Ayumi Ura, you will have a chance to think about yourself, and create your “self plan”. Through this luncheon event, we are sure that you will gain insights that will prove inspiring and helpful in your business career.
